Salman, Ranveer Attend Radhika Merchant’s Arangetram Ceremony Hosted by The Ambani’s

Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, and his wife Nita Ambani hosted their to-be daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant's debut classical dance performance at Mumbai's Jio World Centre on Sunday, June 5th. During her 'Arangetram,' The 24-year-old Radhika, daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant, presented a spectacular dancing performance.

For those unfamiliar, 'Arangetram' is a Tamil word that refers to a dancer mounting the stage after completing formal training of Bharatanatyam. It is the dancer's graduation from training to performing classical dance on stage and instructing others. It is a student of Indian classical form and music's first on-stage performance after years of preparation.

Radhika is a disciple of Shree Nibha Arts' Guru Bhavana Thakar. She has been studying Bharatanatyam for almost eight years. In her performance, she included all the traditional elements.

In the ceremony along with Radhika, everyone including Nita Ambani, Mukesh Ambani, Akash Ambani, and Shloka Mehta carried their best traditional attires. From B-town, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh were among the ones who attended the eventshyshyshy.

Ambani's youngest son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant got engaged in 2019.
