"Sara Ali Khan And Ananya Panday Can Go To Karan Johar`s House To Get An Audition", Says Sonam Bajwa

Punjabi actress and fashion icon Sonam Bajwa is busy promoting her upcoming movie Godday Godday Chaa. In a recent interview, Sonam was asked if she could steal something from today's young actresses, namely Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday, and her response is more like taking a dig at the star kids.

In a recent interview, Sonam Bajwa spoke about how these Bollywood star kids have easy access to A-lister filmmakers, unlike her. Maybe this is the reason she has stayed away from Hindi films and carved her own niche in Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. She opened up about how nepo kids like Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday have easy access to Karan Johar.

The Punjabi actress was recently asked if she could steal something from today's young actresses, what would it be. When Sara and Ananya were named, she responded with "Nothing." However, she further added, 'They can go to Karan Johar's house and discuss and get to audition. If I get to do all of that, then yeah.'

In another interview, Bajwa expressed her disappointment with Bollywood and its behavior toward her. Not everyone knows but she was supposed to appear in the song Sip Sip 2.0 for Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor's Street Dancer 3D (2020). However, the song was axed from the film.

Opening up on the same, Sonam said, 'I felt very bad. Firstly, I never wanted to do a song. But the team was so looked up to. Remo is such a senior artist, director, and choreographer. Varun Dhawan is loved by everyone. I was in two minds, should I do the song, should I not do the song. But they'd reached out to me, so I decided to go ahead. And when the song didn't make it to the final edit of the film, I was very disheartened.'

Sonam Bajwa was recently seen in the US Tour of The Entertainers with Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, and others. She will also be seen in Carry On Jatta 3 alongside Gippy Grewal.
