Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan to Star in a film, Shooting Stars January

In a rejoicing news, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen together with his daughter Suhana Khan in an action thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The shooting of the film will commence in January. Suhana Khan will be making her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar's directorial debut, The Archies.

According to some reports, "The film has been titled King and will be a one-of-a-kind action thriller with strong dynamics shared by Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. One would have expected SRK and Suhana to team up on a relatively soft film against the backdrop of a father and daughter, but they are ready to break the norm by collaborating for the first time on an action thriller."

Moreover, in further exciting news for fans, the action scenes for the film will be looked over by Siddharth Anand, who has directed Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan previously. The sources revealed, "Siddharth and Shah Rukh Khan formed a great bond through the Pathaan shoot and are all ready to expand that further with King. Siddharth has proved himself to be the best in action at the moment, and he will be overseeing all the action blocks in the King."

The pre-production for the film is underway, and Sujoy Ghosh is giving final touches to the action-packed screenplay for the film. It is currently titled King and is deemed to be an actioner with a lot of twists and turns. Ghosh is known for making films that send you on a rollercoaster ride full of adrenaline rushes. It will be interesting to see the collaboration take shape.

The film is jointly produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Entertainment.

It was also reported that Shah Rukh Khan was doing a cameo in the web series directed by his son Aryan Khan in his Bollywood debut. Now with this news, it confirms how Shah Rukh Khan cannot wait to work with his kids. It remains to be seen how the film turns out.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of Dunki, which hits the screen on December 21.
