Shah Rukh Khan Meets With An Accident On The Sets In LA, Undergoes A Surgery

Shah Rukh Khan is currently soaring high after Pathaan's success. The movie was a monstrous hit all across the globe. Just when we thought he was back in action, Shah Rukh Khan met with an accident in Los Angeles. The actor was instantly rushed to the hospital, where he underwent a minor surgery.

Pathaan has minted over 1000 crores, and everyone has their eyes on Shah Rukh Khan's next project, Jawan. The movie will be directed by Atlee and also star South superstars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in prominent roles.

Shah Rukh Khan undergoes surgery in LA

Coming back to his accident, Shah Rukh Khan was shooting for a project in Los Angeles when he hurt his nose. A source who witnessed the incident made some revelations about the actor's health update.

"SRK was shooting in Los Angeles for a project, and he ended up hurting his nose. He began bleeding and was immediately rushed to the hospital. His team was informed by the doctors that there was nothing to worry about and that King Khan would need to undergo minor surgery to stop the bleeding. Post-op, SRK was spotted with a bandage on his nose. Shah Rukh Khan is now back in the country, recuperating at home," said the source.

So far, neither the Pathaan actor nor his team have issued a statement on his accident.

Shah Rukh Khan's past surgeries

This is not the first time SRK has undergone surgery. In his nearly three-decade career, the actor has been hurt several times, especially on sets. In 2013, Shah Rukh had his eighth surgery done after wrapping up the shoot of Chennai Express.

In 2017, Khan again had to undergo surgery after injuring his knee on the sets of Raees. He also had to undergo yet another surgery in 2009 to fix the tear in his shoulder.

On the work front

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Siddharth Anand's Pathaan. The movie was a global hit and proved to be an anchor for an already sinking Bollywood. The movie also starred Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles.

He will be next seen in Atlee's Jawan, co-starring Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Vijay Sethupathi. SRK also has Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki in the pipeline.
