The much-anticipated musical drama "Mufasa: The Lion King" is the upcoming live-action movie produced by Walt Disney Studios. The film is set to hit theatres on December 20th and will be available in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu.
In a special collaboration, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan joins his sons Aryan and AbRam Khan, lending their voices to iconic characters in the Hindi version of the film. The movie serves as a prequel to the 2019 hit "The Lion King," offering fans an immersive experience into the origins of Mufasa, one of the most beloved characters in Disney history.

In the newly released Hindi trailer, Shah Rukh Khan gives voice to Mufasa, the wise and noble king of the jungle. This role holds a special place for the actor, not only because of Mufasa's significance in popular culture but also due to its resonances with his personal life.Shah Rukh Khan shared his thoughts on the character, stating, "Mufasa has an incredible legacy and stands as the ultimate king of the jungle, imparting his wisdom to his son, Simba. I deeply relate to him as a father and also resonate with Mufasa's journey in the film."

This collaboration is made even more special by the involvement of his sons, Aryan and AbRam Khan. Aryan, who previously voiced Simba in the 2019 film, reprises his role, while AbRam joins the cast, making this a unique family affair.
Shah Rukh Khan further expressed his joy, adding, "'Mufasa: The Lion King', depicts Mufasa's life from childhood to his rise as an incredible king, and revisiting this character has been exceptional. "Mufasa: The Lion King" is not just another adaptation but a unique blend of a prequel and a sequel, taking audiences on a journey through time. The film begins with Rafiki, the wise baboon, narrating the story of Mufasa and Taka (later known as Scar) to Kiara, the granddaughter of Mufasa and the daughter of Simba and Nala. The trailer starts with Rafiki's words, 'It's time to tell you a story, a cub's story,' setting the stage for a tale that delves into the past while connecting with the future.The trailer introduces us to a young, orphaned cub named Mufasa, who crosses paths with Taka, a lion from a royal bloodline. Despite being initially lost, Mufasa finds a new family when Taka fights to include him in the clan. The bond between Mufasa and Taka grows strong, with Taka cherishing Mufasa as the brother he always wanted. However, the story takes a turn as the head of the clan instructs both Mufasa and Taka to find their own paths, hinting at the challenges and choices that lie ahead.
