Shahid Kapoor Wraps Up Deva In Dhan Te Nan Style, Watch Video

One of the most versatile actors, Shahid Kapoor, has redefined his place in the Indian film industry with some incredible performances and experimental roles. His last sting in Tere Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya made everyone fall in love with him once again.

He will be seen next in Deva, an out-and-out action drama, where he will be essaying the role of a resolute police officer. Shahid Kapoor recently wrapped up the shoot of the film in Kaminey style as he shook a leg on Dhan Te Nan.

For the uninitiated, the Rosshan Andrrews directorial will also star Pooja Hegde in the leading role, where she will play a journalist. The movie was officially announced in May 2023.

On Thursday, the Kabir Singh actor took to Instagram and shared a reel where he can be seen dancing to his infamous song, Dhan Te Nan, from Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminey. The film also featured Priyanka Chopra in a pivotal role.

In the clip, he can be seen donning cop attire as he looks dapper in Khakhi pants, a white shirt, and a gun in his holster.


Sharing the same on social media, Shahid captioned, 'When DEVA did the dhante daan. No better way to wrap a film. Was such a special feeling. This one's coming to give you a JOLT. #gohardorgohome #lovethisshit It's a wrap on this monster of a film that took everything from me. I can't wait to share it with you all on 14th February.'

In the film, Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing a defiant police officer, while Pooja Hegde plays the role of a journalist. Deva also stars Pavail Gulati in a prominent role.

The film's wrap was announced on Wednesday as the makers took to Instagram and shared an adorable picture of the two leading stars cutting the cake alongside choreographers Bosco-Caesar.

The upcoming action drama is helmed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews and backed by Siddharth Roy Kapur. Deva promises high-octane action sequences and intense drama.


Deva will see a theatrical release on February 14, 2025. Announcing the release date, the makers took to Instagram and wrote, "Experience the exciting adrenaline rush of #Deva as this power-packed action thriller hits theaters on 14th February, 2025!"

Shahid was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya alongside Kriti Sanon.
