Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor Share a Warm Moment at a Mumbai Event

Bollywood fans were in for a treat when Aashiqui 2 stars and rumoured ex-couple Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur were spotted together at a recent event in Mumbai. The duo, known for their sizzling on-screen chemistry, delighted everyone with a spontaneous yet heartwarming reunion, sending their fans into a frenzy. The moment was reminiscent of their time together in hit films like Aashiqui 2 and Ok Jaanu, both of which played a significant role in cementing their popularity as a romantic pair.


A magical 'Tum Hi Ho' moment

Paparazzi captured the adorable moment when Shraddha and Aditya bumped into each other. Shraddha looked radiant in a traditional black saree, while Aditya cut a dapper figure in a classic black suit paired with a crisp white shirt. As Shraddha turned around to see Aditya standing behind her, she greeted him with a warm smile. The two stars then shared a cosy hug, making fans nostalgic for their romantic scenes together on the silver screen.

Shraddha and Aditya first starred together in the 2013 musical hit Aashiqui 2. The film, directed by Mohit Suri, became a massive success and marked the beginning of their on-screen chemistry. In the film, Aditya's character famously shielded Shraddha from the rain with his jacket, a moment etched in the hearts of fans. Their recent meeting, with them hugging under an umbrella, brought back memories of this iconic rain scene that symbolised their bond.

The duo later reunited in 2017 for Ok Jaanu, an adaptation of Mani Ratnam's Tamil film O Kadhal Kanmani. In one of the memorable scenes from the movie, the two gazed deeply into each other's eyes under an umbrella, once again reminding fans of their magical connection.

Shraddha and Aditya's on the work front

Both actors are keeping busy with their respective projects. Shraddha Kapoor's latest release, Stree 2, a horror-comedy, has been a box office juggernaut. The film has crossed the Rs 600 crore mark in just 39 days, positioning it as the highest-grossing Hindi film at the domestic box office.

Meanwhile, Aditya Roy Kapur will next be seen in Metrohellip In Dino, a sequel to the 2007 film Life in a Metro. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Sara Ali Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Pankaj Tripathi.
