The South Korean entertainment industry is in mourning after the untimely passing of actor Song Jae-rim. The 39-year-old actor was found dead in his apartment in Seoul's Seongdong District. Authorities are investigating, but initial reports suggest no signs of foul play. Song Jae-rim Found Dead in His Seoul Apartment
On November 12, media outlet OSEN reported that Song Jae-rim was discovered deceased in his residence. Seongdong Police Station confirmed the finding, with officials reporting that the actor's body was found at his apartment in Seoul's Seongdong District. Although the exact cause of his death is still unknown, police have indicated that there are 'no signs of foul play' at the scene, ruling out any immediate suspicion of external involvement.A two-page letter was reportedly found in his apartment, though the contents remain undisclosed. Song Jae-rim's funeral has been scheduled for November 14, with his family setting up a memorial space at Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital Funeral Hall, allowing fans and loved ones to pay their respects.

About Song Jae-rim
Born in 1985, Song Jae-rim embarked on his acting career with his debut in the 2009 release Actresses. He soon gained attention for his performances in various dramas and films, making a lasting impression on the South Korean entertainment industry.Song rose to fame with his role in the 2012 historical drama The Moon Embracing the Sun. He played Lord Kim Jae-woon, a loyal bodyguard, alongside actor Kim Soo-hyun. This role earned him recognition for his intense yet warm portrayal of a dedicated protector. Following this, he appeared in Two Weeks (2013), where he portrayed a cold-blooded assassin, showcasing his range in darker roles.
Over the years, Song continued to explore diverse characters in dramas like Unkind Ladies (2015), Secret Mother (2018), and I Wanna Hear Your Song (2019), and Cafeacute Minamdang (2022). Most recently, he featured in two dramas, My Military Valentine and Queen Woo.
