Teaser of Vicky Kaushal`s Sam Bahadur To Be Screened at Ind V Pak Match

Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur has been much-awaited ever since its first look, where the Masaan actor transformed himself into Sam Manekshaw. The film is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw, who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The teaser for the film is going to be released on October 13, and it will screen during the India vs. Pakistan match of the ICC Men's World Cup 2023.

The news brings a lot of excitement to fans who were waiting to get a glimpse into the film. Along with that, it is even more delightful that the teaser will be screened during the match between the arch rivals. It will help the film get even more attention from cricket fans, who will be already hooked on the screens this Friday.

The makers of the film are going to launch the teaser in Mumbai on the 13th with all the cast and crew. This will mark the beginning of its marketing campaign, as the film is slated for release on December 1 and set to clash with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal.

Sam Bahadur is co-written and directed by Meghna Gulzar. Her last release, Chhapaak, was appreciated by critics and was also a biographical drama about an acid attack survivor. It was written by Atika Chohan and Meghna Gulzar.



Sam Bahadur was shot extensively in the last two years in multiple locations and has been creating a lot of buzz since its announcement. It is Kaushal's second film with Meghna after Raazi (2018). Besides him, it also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh in the lead roles.

Vicky Kaushal has firmly established himself as an actor who is ready to do challenging roles ever since his powerful debut with Masaan (2015). He has played the role of an Army man in URI (2019), where his performance was much appreciated. After Sam Bahadur, he will be collaborating with Laxman Utekar on a film on Shivaji Maharaj, where he will be playing the lead.

All eyes are on the teaser now and its screening during the World Cup match.
