The Archies have been doing the rounds in the public sphere for the past couple of years. It has been one of the most-awaited projects ever since it was announced. It stars an ensemble of newcomers like Suhana Khana, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina, Aditi Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda. The film is directed by Zoya Akhtar and is going to be directly released on Netflix.
Now, the first song from the film is out, and it's titled Sunoh. Written by legendary lyricist Javed Akhtar and brought to life by the vocals of Tejas Menon and Shivam Mahadevan, the song has already found its most famous admirer. Suhana Khan's father and the king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, have showered love on her for her first song release.
In an Instagram post, he wrote, "This is so quaint and beautiful, the world of The Archies. Also, my motivation line for today is 'Trading my shoes in for wheels under my feet'!"

In the video of the song, Suhana is seen skating around the room in vintage clothes, as the film is set in the olden times. It is based on the comics of the same name that were quite famous for their memorable characters coming of age.
The Archies is set to release on Netflix on December 7. Earlier, a teaser trailer for the film was released, which took everyone on a fairytale adventure in the 1960s.
