US Influencer Apologizes For Being Rude To Priyanka Chopra At The Ambani Wedding

Priyanka Chopra turns a year older today, and she is aging like fine wine. After winning with her candid dance at the Ambani wedding, fans are convinced she deserves another blockbuster Bollywood movie.

Priyanka looked gorgeous in a yellow lehenga as she flew down from the States to her motherland to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding. Nick Jonas, her husband-singer, accompanied her.

During the wedding, she was interviewed by a US influencer named Julia Chafe, who is now being massively trolled for dissing and interrupting Priyanka Chopra. In her recent video, the social media star addressed the backlash and apologized for being rude to the actress.

What happened between Priyanka Chopra and Julia Chafe?

For the uninitiated, influencers from across the globe were also invited to the grand Ambani wedding. Julia happens to be a prominent social media sensation in the West and has interacted with many celebrities on her page.

During the Ambani wedding, Julia recorded 'Behind the Scenes' with PeeCee and Nick, which has garnered over 50 million views on Instagram. She received major backlash for interrupting the Citadel actress while she was appreciating the influencer's work.

Julia shared a new video where she apologized for her behavior and said, "I think I dissed Priyanka Chopra at Anant Ambani's wedding. And I cannot stop thinking about it. The video of me dissing has 50 million views.'

'She was trying to tell me more, and I cut her off. It wasn't meant to be a diss. Once, Priyanka told me she knew me. My brain was just like a red . And the red was just like, You cannot handle this any more. Change the subject. My brain was exploding," she further added.

Julia Chafe continued to explain, "As a super fan of Priyanka Chopra, when she told me she knew me, it was just too much for me to handle. Changing the subject to talk to Nick was more like a primal instinct. But in doing that, I dissed one of my favorite celebrities of all time. Priyanka, if you are seeing this, I never meant to be rude to you. I love you dearly, and just know that I love you. And I'm sorry."

Meanwhile, in the original video, Julia can be seen interrupting Priyanka Chopra and fangirling over Nick Jonas.


Sharing the BTS video on social media, her caption read, "Kindly excuse me while I pass away! #PriyankaChopra was possibly the nicest celebrity I've ever met. And although I already found her to be the world's most beautiful woman, in person, she literally had a glowing aura around her. Magnificent."
