Varisu starring Thalapahy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna was one of the most anticipated South movies of the year. Clashing with Ajith Kumar's Thunivu, the movie did exceptionally well across the country. Vijay fans were in for a treat to see him back in action. Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna's Varisu has collected over Rs. 125 crores in just six days. Released on January 11, the movie created havoc at the box office on the day after Pongal, which marks as the best day for the box office collection. Today marks the last day of the festivities and holiday period in Tamil Nadu.
