Vijay Deverakonda, known for his passion and commitment to his craft, is making headlines again for pushing through an injury while filming his latest project, VD12. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, this action-packed movie has demanded a high level of dedication from Vijay, who has chosen to keep shooting despite suffering a shoulder injury during a challenging action sequence. This determination highlights Vijay's resilience and his relentless drive to succeed, especially in light of recent career challenges.

Injury on Set but No Time for Rest

While filming a high-energy fight scene for VD12, Vijay Deverakonda sustained a shoulder injury that could have easily put him out of commission for a while. However, his tight shooting schedule left him with little room for a break. A source close to the actor shared, 'Vijay is getting physio and rehab because his shoulder hurts after he got injured during a fight sequence. But he's still training for his role and shooting his scenes, doing his best not to escalate the injury further and pushing through the pain. There's no time for a break on his schedule now.'

Vijay's Journey Through Career Challenges

Vijay's career has seen its fair share of ups and downs. His 2020 film, World Famous Lover, and the 2022 film, Liger, were both disappointing at the box office, with Ligermdashstarring Ananya Pandaymdashfacing heavy criticism. Reflecting on this setback, Vijay shared in a recent Family Star promotional event, 'There is no change in my attitude. I have remained the same before and after the release. The only difference is that I decided not to talk about the results of my films (before release) for the next three movies or so. That's the punishment I gave myself.'

Despite these challenges, Vijay has been steadily rebuilding his career. Following his return in Kushi (2023) with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and his recent work in The Family Star alongside Mrunal Thakur, Vijay also made a notable cameo as Arjuna in the high-profile film Kalki 2898 AD.
