With the wedding season taking the internet by storm, guess which celebrity couple jumped on the trend bandwagon? It is none other than Amy Jackson and Ed Westwick. The Bollywood actress and the Gossip Girl star got engaged on Monday, and their pictures are too dreamy to believe.

The Ekk Deewana Tha actress said yes to her long-time boyfriend Ed Westwick's proposal amidst the majestic landscapes of Gstaad, Switzerland. On Monday, Amy Jackson took to Instagram and shared some stunning proposal pictures. The Hollywood actor can be seen down on his knee as he pops the question with a ring in his hand.


Amy, accepting Ed's proposal, shared the pictures on social media and wrote, "Hell yes," with a ring emoji. Westwick also shared pictures on his Instagram stories and wrote, "I hit the jackpot."

However, despite all the love she's been showered with by her fiance, Amy didn't have a great past when it came to relationships.

The two even share a four-year-old son named Andreas. Despite the turmoil in her personal life, Amy Jackson never stopped believing in love. She was rather clear about what kind of person she would want to spend her life with.


In an old interview with Filmfare dating back to 2016, the actress opened up about her failed relationships. She shared that it was a lonely phase where it was just her work that became her solidary support.

'I felt lonely. My films made me feel so much more alive and satisfied than any person could make me feel. That made me realize I didn't need any of this nonsense and heartbreak. Just do what you love,' Amy said.

When asked about giving love another chance, Jackson said, 'I still believe in love. I can't wait to fall in love some day. I like the feeling of being in love. I'm a hopeless romantic. But there comes a point where you realize what you deserve and what you want. Love isn't always happy and lovely it can be painful sometimes. It's nice to be away from love for a while and focus on different emotions and what else one wants in life.'

Well, despite the rollercoaster ride in her love life, Amy has finally found her Mr. Perfect in Gossip Girl's Chuck Bass, aka Ed Westwick. The two started dating in 2021 and made their relationship official a year later.


It was on January 29 that the couple got engaged amidst the picturesque snow-filled landscapes of Gstaad, Switzerland. Many Bollywood celebrities left some heartfelt comments on their recent Instagram posts.
