When KK`s Son Nakul Recalled When He Heard About His Father`s Untimely Death

It was in May 2022 when we lost one of Bollywood's gems, KK, aka Krishnakumar Kunnath. The legendary singer transformed the way the industry looked at music with his melodious voice and soulful expressions.
Along with his fans, KK's family has still not come to terms with his untimely demise. We might relish his songs, but his family will always live with a void that no one can fill.
In a shocking turn of events, the Dil Ibadat singer took his last breath in Kolkata while performing at a concert for Gurudas College's fest. A video surfaced on the internet where KK was seen struggling for breath while profusely sweating. After which, he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, but he was declared dead.

For the uninitiated, the singer was survived by his wife and two children, Nakul and Taamara. In an old interview, the Jannat singer's children recalled the time when they received the shattering news.Nakul shared that when the doctor told him that his father was no more, he couldn't even cry out of shock.

"When the doctor called me up and told me that dad is no more, I didn't know how to react. I couldn't even cry because I couldn't process what was happening," Nakul said.
However, on the contrary, the singer's daughter, Taamara, was bawling out upon receiving the news. She was running around and screaming in complete disbelief. She said they were in shock, and grief was felt much later.
"Nakul and mom were sitting in shock. I was losing my mind. I was running around, screaming. I didn't know what was happening. We were in shock for the longest time. Grief hit us much later," Taamara said.

KK went on to release some spectacular songs like Pal, Yaaron, and more before he could grab back-to-back offers as a playback singer. He then went on to sing some timeless classics like Sach Keh Raha Hai, Zara Sa, Dil Ibadat, Beetein Lamhe, and Khuda Jaane, among others.
