It is a historic moment for the Indian indie music scene as Anuv Jain's newest single 'HUSN' ends up ranking No.1 on Apple Music India charts for all genres. With just 11 singles released on digital platfroms out there, Anuv has taken full domination over playlists of almost every listener in and around South-Asia.

As of 11 january 2024 his track 'HUSN' ranks amongst top 10 on platforms like Spotify , Apple and not just in his origin country India but neighbouring nations like Pakistan, Dubai etc too. His music has always been very minimal with the elements included in the production of the song yet captures the hearts of millions with kind of wordplay that he crafts. With the ongoing nation wide tour called 'GULDASTA' Anuv hit a million followers on Instagram . All the shows on this 10-city tour have turned out to be promimnently sold out and includes cities like Delhi, Guwahati, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Ahemdabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Mumbai.

Amidst the tour we managed to interview him at our studios for his newest release HUSN , where we tried to dive deep into his process, inspirations and life in general. Upon being asked as to how he and his famaily is reacting to the kind of attention he's getting lately at his live shows , Anuv said

"It's been an absolute ride as we are evolving with every show. I think im just a guy with a guitar and never expected it could be this big of a hit. We are adding elements to it with every show and i guess it will come into its full realisation with the last show. My mom came for my very first show in Ludhiana and was completely awestruck seeing the number of people that turned up for the show. Through her reaction, i realised what a big of a deal it is because for her im still a mumma's boy buying daily groceries and stuff back home but when she saw the kind of impact his little boy is having on people , making them cry , she was left surprised. So i guess there's been a major impact on not just me but my family and friends too"
