What started as a three-day music festival on the beaches of India's sunny state, Goa, has become one of the world's biggest electronic music celebrations, featuring the global superstars alongside homegrown artists on a single platform. After two years of limited attendance events owing to the pandemic, Sunburn Festival 2022 will take over Goa in its original avatar from 28-30 December, allowing music lovers to let their hair down and immerse themselves in the world of EDM. A lot of international stars have decended for Sunburn Goa throughout the festival's history amd this year is no different. Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike- Ranked number 3 on DJ Mag's Top 100 list 2022
Dimitri Vegas amp Like Mike are a Belgian DJ and record producer duo composed of brothers Dimitri Thivaios and Michael Thivaios. Their collaboration with Tomorrowland was key to getting their name out in the most demanding of music scenes and sky-rocketing them to the highest levels of popularity. Spring-boarded by Tomorrowland, they got to do international tours and grow their events, with productions and screenings accompanying their tracks. They are surely one of the top attractions of the Sunburn Goa 2022 artist lineup.
Afrojack- Ranked number 6 on DJ Mag's Top 100 list 2022
Nick van de Wall, aka Afrojack, is one of the most internationally successful DJs and producers to emerge from the Dutch dance music scene. A constant fixture of EDM festivals as well as the Top Ten of DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 DJs poll, he has scored platinum-certified international hits such as "Take Over Control" (featuring Eva Simons, 2010) and "The Spark" (featuring Spree Wilson, 2013), additionally co-writing or featuring on worldwide smashes by Beyonceacute, David Guetta, and Pitbull.
Nicky Romero- Ranked number 20 on DJ Mag's Top 100 list 2022
Dutch DJ Nicky Romero became one of the biggest names of the EDM boom during the 2010s, thanks to his ambitious yet accessible productions that fused progressive house with pop. Following early-career remixes of tracks by artists like David Guetta and Hardwell, the video for his single "Toulouse" became a viral hit in early 2012, and he broke through a year later with "I Could Be the One," his U.K. chart-topping collaboration with Avicii. Since then, he's become a major attraction at festivals, including Coachella, Tomorrowland, Sunburn Goa and Ultra Music Festival.
Rest of the DJ Mag's Top 100 list artists performing at Sunburn Goa 2022 include Lost Frequencies at number 28, Black Coffee at number 39, Nervo at number 40, Blasterjaxx at number 52 and Morten at number 56.
