Indie singer songwriter Bhamini Jha has released her latest single Badlaav. The peppy indipop song has been composed, written and sung by Bhamini while the music has been produced by Saish Bharadwaj. The song talks about accepting changes that people face while growing up and becoming one's own best friend. On being asked about how she conceptualised the song, Bhamini said " This song was written when I was totally in a dark phase and had almost given up on my dreams. I tried to stay strong and move ahead in life.The best you can learn from this song is how to be your own friend and take care of yourself. The title of the song Badlaav says it all. This song helped me to come out of my depression and recreate and relive my life."

The song is accompanied by a music video which features model Shruti Soni and has been directed by Vipul Gupta. Bhamini has been singing and composing songs for the past 7 years. She was the winner of the UGC music talent hunt Vyrl Cover Star for the song Khud Se Jyada. Her last release with Zee Music Company Aao Na has more than 100k views on Youtube.
