In 2023, global on demand audio streams hit 4 trillion for the first time

According to market monitor Luminate's Year End report, global on-demand audio streams reached the 4 trillion milestone for the first in a single year in 2023.

As per the report, on-demand audio song streams rose 22.3#37 to reach the mark as compared to 3.4 trillion in 2022. The report also states that globally, on-demand song streams (video+audio) grew 33.7#37 to reach 7.1 trillion in total.
