RANJ X CLIFR drop a new addictive tune - AIN'T LIKE ME

Team Radio City

After a couple of releases in 2022, RANJ and CLIFR returned to a mainly melodic RampB sound with 'Ain't Like Me'. The intro samples dialogue from an iconic scene from Tamil cinema - considered a grand gesture of romance at the time perhaps alluding to the idea that there is indeed a very thin line between love and madness. 'Ain't Like Me' almost comes across as self-talk, trying to recognize yourself as you're chasing after love, even when it defies logic.

Clifr's production builds a nostalgic soundscape that pays homage to the golden era of RampB, with a RANJ X CLIFR twist. RANJ taps into her playful side, with clean and polished vocals backed by indulgent harmony stacks very RampB girl-group-esque that's making a comeback today. The song only gets stickier as it goes a short, stream-friendly single that requires you to play it again if you want to hear the addictive chorus.

Ranj amp Clifr together, form a pop/hip-hop/RnB duo rooted in the vibrant musical scene of Bangalore. Their musical journey began in mid-2021, initially as part of the fusion band Kelvikkuri, before transitioning into a collaborative effort as solo artists during the lockdown period.

Ranj amp Clifr's fusion of cultural influences, musical expertise, and innovative production techniques make them a notable presence in the contemporary music landscape, and their work is likely to continue garnering attention from audiences worldwide.
