Deceased punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala's second posthumous song "Veer" released today on the occassion of Gurpurb, the birth anniversary of Sikhism founder Guru Nanak Dev. The song celebrates the Sikhs and lauds the valour of the commader in chief of Maharaja Ranjit Singh ji's army Hari Singh Nalwa. Nalwa is known for his role in expanding the Sikh empire to beyond the Indus river up to the Khyber Pass. The song has been released on Moosewala's YouTube channel and at the time of writing this story has garnered more than 5.4 million views in 6 hours. The 2 minute 18 second song has been produced by Snappy and promoted by Gold Media Entertainment. It has been released under the label 'Sidhu Moose Wala'.

Sidhu Moose Wala's first posthumus song SYL talked about the long standing political dispute between Punjab and Haryana on the construction of the Sutlej Yamuna Link Canal amongst other things. The song stood at 23 million views on Youtube before it was removed from the platform for legal disputes. Sidhu Moose Wala rose to mainstream success in 2017 when he started releasing singles on topics that were sensitive. His hard hitting lyrics and storytelling quickly catapulted him to a cult status.
