Indie singer-songwriter Gaurav Bangia has released a moving tribute to KK who passed away on 31 May 2022. Composed and sung by Gaurav, the music has been produced by Santosh Naira. The lyrics penned by Rahul B Seth do complete justice to the song, "Main milta hi rahoonga yaad banke aapse" evoke a strong emotion among all fans of KK while Pavan Rasaili's guitar solos add to the nostalgic vibe of the song.

"KK isn't just a person or a singer for us ardent fans. He is an emotion. I was inspired to create this melody after I realised how, his passing away touched each one of us. I also intensely feel a kinship with him, both of us being from MUSOC, the music society of KiroriMal College"- writes Gaurav in the Youtube description of the song.

The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Ajinkya Deshmukh which features Gaurav inter cut with footage from KK's live performance. The video surely makes one shed a tear in memory of one of India's most loved singers.
