The Western Ghats as the name suggests is a Mumbai based Electornic/Alt rock band , they released an absolutely beautiful track "Parwaaz" earlier in February this year. The song starts with an addictive progression with the frontman 'Aryaendra Shekhar' coming in with his melancholic yet beautifully haunting voice , one can't resist moving swiflty as soon as the drums come in and finally lands onto the chorus where they question certain aspect of life through the lyrics saying "Tujhe kaise mai jaane du , Tujhe kaise na mai dekhu. Everything about this song is enticing and is sure to take you on a beautiful sonic ride.

The band is known for its addictive melodies and vibrant live performances which makes us question after all , have we found a replacement for the broken band "The Local Train" and rather an evolved version of them ? The Local Train to some extent had a similar Alt rock vibe and have ruled the playlists of millions while they were intact. With discovery of this band "The Western Ghats" it somehow feels like a long last love has returned and somehow not just the playlist but everything feels complete.
