1. Communication SatellitesWithin a span of two months, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched three communication satellites in 2017. India has been phenomenal when it comes to hosting space operations. ISRO has had over 150 communication satellites since 1975. The Ariane Passenger Payload Experiment (APPLE) was the first ever Indian satellite launched from French Guiana on June 19, 1981. Most of them have been successful missions.

2. One Mission, 104 SatellitesBreaking Russia's record of 27 satellites, ISRO launched 104 satellites in a single mission. This was held in February 2017. The total weight of all 104 satellites onboard PSLV-C37 was 1378 kg.

3. ISRO's Own Navigation SystemThe NavIC launched by ISRO is India's own navigation system. It is said to be more accurate than the GPS. This makes India one of the five countries to have its own navigation system in place.

4. MangalyaanIndia became the first country to reach Mars in first attempt in 2014. We are one of the four countries who have reached the otherworldly planet. 5. Chandrayaan 3After its first two attempts to reach the Earth's satellite, ISRO once again successfully launched the Vikram rover to the Moon's south pole.
