Bigg Boss 17: 5 Things Salman Khan Should Not Repeat In The Upcoming Season

Bigg Boss 17 is just few days away from its streaming. The reality show will go on air on October 15. With the show already garnering enough buzz, there are certain things we would like Salman Khan to not repeat this season. Lets see what made to the list.

1. Merciless tasksRubbing chili powder in Bigg Boss contestants' eyes or bathing in cowdung? How is this even humane? Over the years and as the show has progressed, the tasks have seen a regressive dip. The show glorifies inhumane tasks, which end up giving gruesome wounds to the contestant in the name of the game.In a show where contestants have to go to unreasonable lengths to survive, we hope Bigg Boss 17 comes with some sensible tasks.

2. Taking mental health as a jokeStaying locked inside a house for months with strangers, away from your loved ones, and cutting off from the world is not an easy game. While the contestants know what they are signing up for, it is about time the makers of the show go a little lineant on mental health. Many contestants have opened up about how the show has taken a toll on their mental health. Being a prominent public figure and showrunner, Salman Khan must take this seriously and understand when contestants breakdown.

3. Tolerating body shaming, violence, or derrogatory commentsWell, this isn't new in the Bigg Boss house. There have been several instances over the years where below-the-belt comments have been passed that are ruthless and insulting. It is about time Salman Khan ensures strict action is taken whenever such incidents occur.

4. Fake love storiesOh, this one is beyond lame and boring. With 16 seasons brewing and more than 16 different love stories, some are just publicity stunts. While there are some genuine love stories like Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra or Siddharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill, contestants like Sara Khan and Ali Merchant are an iconic example of fake love stories in the Bigg Boss house. It is high time Salman Khan put an end to such unnecessary and unwanted drama.

5. Biased hostingYes, he is allowed to have personal favorites, but every time Salman Khan chooses bias over logic, we start losing interest in the show. Viewers and fans would like to see every contestant treated equally and every situation evaluated fairly. Is that too much to ask?
