1. Childhood PassionChiranjeevi spent most of his childhood in his native village with his grandparents. The Megastar was interested in acting ever since his school days and therefore, after graduating,m he imediatley moved to Chennai and joined the Madras Film Institute.

First BreakthroughMagastar Chiranjeevi made his acting debut with the movie Punadhirallu in 1978. However, he got his major breakthrough with Sindhooram in 1997, and till date her has ruled the industry close to four decades, and Megastar Chiranjeevi has worked in over 150 feature films.

Megastar Award and RecognitionChiranjeevi won three Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Awards, a Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and nine Filmfare Awards South. In 2006, he was also honoured with the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian award for his contributions to Indian cinema and he was presented with an honorary doctorate from Andhra University

In 1998 he established the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT) on October 2 overseeing the Chiranjeevi Blood and Eye Banks The CCT's Blood Bank has assisted over 80,000 individuals while the Eye Bank has restored eye vision to around 1000 people in Andhra Pradesh
