Don`t we all envy celebrities for their success, fame, money, and glamorous life? But, unfortunately, we fail to see the other side of their lives. Popular actor Shernavaz Jijina talks about her journey challenges, achievements, and how she cleverly deals with the criticism to host Shlok Chaturvedi.
Shernavaz Jijina is known for her excellent performance as `Shabnam` in the Amazon Prime web series Mirzapur.
When asked about how she feels about the criticism that every celebrity has to go through, Shernavaz said, "I mean you travel by local trains someone gives you a shelf and the person is having a bad day right so it turns into if you can give the benefit of Doubt to the person traveling in a local train why can`t you give it to actors because we`re acting."
She added, "I mean we`re doing something we love we`re facing the camera we`re entertaining the audience. I agree that we are here for the public everything is here for you all absolutely by all means criticize our work criticize the shows we take up criticize that you have all the right to do that but don`t criticize us when we are ourselves. Yeah, when we are walking we`re doing our daily chores and we`re having a bad day we can break down like tomorrow if I break down and I cry if someone catches it and be like oh my god what happened why are we not allowed to have human emotions."
She was further asked about the ways to calm herself after facing harsh criticism, the actress revealed, "I have a few of my friends I have like a very handful number of people who are like my family and they understand that I have a public life now and this is what how I have to live. There might be someone taking a video or a picture not only Paparazzi it`s anywhere you go now everyone has a smartphone everyone`s a journalist they will just pick up their phone and take the video they`ll just pick up their phone take pictures without your consent."
Talking about her own ways to deal this condition, the actress said, "I try to meditate I do a bit of yoga I try to stay in nature as much as possible. I take a lot of solo trips, I just go alone because after a point there`s just it gets so noisy out here because you`re always surrounded by people continuously there`s just always someone on the other there so I just pack up my bag and someplace in India somewhere here and there. My last trip was to Munnar and it`s beautiful I love it there and I met solo travelers so I try to do those things try to stay one with nature as much as possible Right to get away from the city."
Shernavaz Jijina believes in working everyday to achieve your dreams. The actress does not pay much attention to what people have to say about her work. She deals with all the negative comments positively and keeps on working hard.
