It`s a moment of pride as a 19-year-old girl, Nandini Gupta from Kota, Rajasthan, fulfills her dream of becoming Miss India. Nandini Gupta became Femina Miss India 2023 by winning the grand finale ceremony held on April 15. For the unversed, the 59th edition of the country’s prestigious beauty pageant was held at the Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak, Imphal, Manipur.
Story Behind Nandini Gupta`s Success
Ever since she has learnt about the paegent, it was Nandini Gupta`s dream to become Miss India. She was just 10 years old when she decided to participate in the pageant.

In a recent interview with the pageant, Nandini revealed, “The most influential person in my life is Sir Ratan Tata, the man who does everything for humanity and donates most of it to charity. Loved by millions and always grounded.”
You will be surprised to know that Nandini mentioned how Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has inspired her to give her best on the Miss India pageant journey. She told, “Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra, who received the national title at a very young age, likewise she made India proud at the National and International level. She gave back to society and excelled as an actor. She inspires people, has a great sense of humor, and has the zeal to gain more as she grows."
All About Femina Miss India 2023
The Femina Miss India 2023 noticed the presence of Bollywood celebrities including Ananya Pandey and Kartik Aaryan and their rocking performances. Bhumi Pednekar and Maniesh Paul hosted the event.

The state winners were judged by honored representatives consisting of Femina Miss India Universe 2002 & Neha Dhupia, Laishram Sarita Devi, Terence Lewis, Harshavardhan Kulkarni, and others. Winner Nandini Gupta will proudly represent India at the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant in the United Arab Emirates.
We congratulate Nandini Gupta and the first runner-up Shreya Poonja from Delhi and second runner-ups Thounaojam Strela Luwang from Manipur.
