1. Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978)
Rekha was already two decades into her film career at the time of the Muqaddar Ka Sikandar release, but it was her portrayal of Zohra Bai that made this movie one of the biggest blockbusters.

This one remains one of our favorites from the list. This was the last time Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha were paired together in the Yash Raj classic. Silsila almost hinted at the real-life controversy of the trio, where the actress plays Big B`s lover, who has to step aside to make way for his on-screen wife, Jaya Bachchan.
6. Umrao Jaan (1981)
The year 1981 was Rekha`s era. After Silsila was massively received, it was her graceful performance in Umrao Jaan that made the audience fall more in love with the actress. This was by far Rekha`s best performance. She even received a National Award for the movie.
7. Khoon Bhari Maang (1988)
Helmed by Rakesh Roshan, the movie featured Rekha, Kabir Bedi, Shatrughan Sinha, Rakesh Roshan, and Sonu Walia in prominent roles. While everyone knows about the revenge story of the film, the commercial success of Khoon Bhari Maang led to Rekha winning the Filmfare Award for Best Actor (Female).
