Taapsee Pannu`s Outsiders Films Join Hands With Viacom18 For Dhak Dhak, An All-Women Led Movie

In 2021, along with shattering the stereotypes, Taapsee Pannu founded her production house Outsiders Films. Today, she joined hands with one of the biggest production houses Viacom18 Studios, announcing their new collaborative project, Dhak Dhak.
Pannu, along with content creator and producer Pranjal Khandhdiya founded Outsiders Films, announcing an up-and-coming thriller movie that will feature her in the lead. Her new collaboration with Viacom18 Studios in association with BLM Pictures is all about a women-led film starring Fatima Sana Shaikh, Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Sanjana Sanghi.
The famous studios are the producers behind substantial narratives and powerful women characters like Kahaani, Queen, Mary Kom, Padmaavat, and more. The Studio, in collaboration with Thappad star`s production house brings a fascinating story of four women from different walks of life and their life-altering journey to the highest motorable pass in the world.
The film is co-written by Parijat Joshi and Tarun Dudheja. Dudheja is also the man behind hemling the movie.
Talking about the new movie, the Pink actress said, “At Outsiders Films we aim to produce films that are meaningful and entertaining. We have attempted to give audiences a visual experience that they have rarely seen on screen. Dhak Dhak narrates the story of four women who realise that freedom has to be owned and never given. Viacom18 Studios has been a crucial part of my journey in the film industry, from Chashme Baddoor, Shabaash Mithu and now to Dhak Dhak.
