Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are one of those celebrity couples who have endured all sorts of controversies surrounding their marriage. Despite that, they are going strong and recently celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary.
Aishwarya took to Instagram and shared a couple of adorable pictures from their celebration, where their daughter, Aradhya, was also a part.
In a recent interview, Abhishek called Aishwarya his soulmate and also shared a cheeky secret to a successful marriage.

In a conversation with Subhash K. Jha for Deccan Chronicles, the Manmarziyaan actor revealed that he first met his ladylove in 2000 during the shoot for their film, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke.
However, back then he never suspected Aishwarya to be his soulmate. It was during the shoot of J.P. Dutta`s Umrao Jaan that the two fell in love.

“We got married a few months after the release of our film Guru together. Mani Ratnam (who directed Guru) remains special for both of us. We consider him a dear friend and godfather," Bachchan said.
He added, "Today, Ash is not just the mother of my daughter, and full credit to her for bringing up Aaradhya with the right values, but also my soulmate." Nineteen years of our marriage have been a dream. I have big plans for our twentieth anniversary, but I am not telling you about them now.”
The actor further went on to share a cheeky secret to a happy and healthy marriage – "Every night, before you sleep, say ‘sorry’ three times to your wife without fail.”
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have featured together in several movies, including Guru, Dhoom 2, Sarkar Raj, Bunty Aur Babli, Kuch Naa Kaho and Raavan.

The couple tied the knot in 2007 in an intimate yet grand ceremony. They welcomed their first child, a daughter whom they named Aradhya, in 2011.
Both Aishwarya and Abhishek were rumoured to be heading for a divorce after speculations of troubles in their married life surfaced all over the internet. However, they chose to be tight-lipped about the matter and kept their private lives away from the media.
Aishwarya Rai`s recent Instagram post of their 19th wedding anniversary celebration has put all rumours to rest.
