Earlier, nobody was aware of the term `nepotism,` and now it has become a household term after Kangana Ranaut mentioned it on Karan Johar`s show Koffee With Karan. As the show went on air, Karan Johar slammed the actress and she also hit back at the filmmaker.
The debate stopped after a while, but it reignited after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Many star kids were accused of snatching away the opportunities from those who entered into the industry without any connections. Recently, Abhishek Bachchan in an exclusive interview shared his views on this most debated topic. And what he said will leave you shocked!

In an interview, with a leading media agency, Abhishek didn`t dice the words as he said, “I`m not accusing anyone but the media has just found this one word which they can throw around. Let`s not go by perception, go by the numbers, they never lie. It`s as simple as that, perception doesn`t matter, facts matter.”
Abhishek further added, “The sad part is that star kids know that they`re being cast for that reason and not because they`re wonderful actors who`ve trained themselves.” He also mentioned that it is quite easy for the star kid to bag the first film but after that, the struggle starts, and the actor has to concentrate on how he or she can better and improve himself/herself.
The Big Bull actor then stated, “How many of these star kids have succeeded in comparison to those who have not come from a film background? The numbers are there for you to see. The discussion starts and ends right there.”

About being compared with his father, the veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek replied that the fact that he`s being compared to someone who he feels is the best actor in the world means that he`s doing something right.
He shared, “I might not be there entirely but if you`re speaking about me in the same ballpark as Amitabh Bachchan, I might be doing something right. I looked upon it more as an appreciation.”
Meanwhile, Abhishek`s career was quite different from his father`s career, but the actor has completed 23 years in the industry.
