Amaal Malik clears the air about link-up rumors with Tanya Mittal
Bigg Boss 19 is over, but the controversies and spicy rumours continue to linger. Amaal Mallik and Tanya Mittal`s one viral fan-made video has been doing the rounds on social media. This has forced the music composer to finally break silence on the same.
While the two shared a cordial bond on the show, Amaal has now clearly addressed the fan-made theories, requesting not to link him up with Tanya.
He took to X (formerly Twitter), sharing a fan-made video and insisting not to turn show-related moments into some baseless rumours, setting the record straight.
Amaal Mallik responds to link-up with Tanya Mittal
The music composer took to social media and explained that what viewers saw on screen was simply a part of the format.
He wrote, “Bhai, yeh ek ‘TASK’ tha, and it`s not right if I act all egoistic and don`t do what the host or guests come and ask of us. If the show needs some people to pair up for a task, do a dance skit or whatever it is… We have to. That`s the channel creative, and you guys are constantly making this into some nonsensical romance."
Mallik also acknowledged Tanya Mittal`s support and apologised for not being as kind as he`d have hoped to be.

“I am grateful to @itanyamittal for the care & concern she has had for me in this season. I know I`ve said things which must`ve hurt her and her fandom as well, but I am truly sorry for whatever I did in anger and to poke her. Just know such things happen, and that`s how one realises his or her shortcomings and works on them," he added.

Making his point clear, Amaal Mallik requested fans to stop reading too much between the lines and urged them to respect their personal boundaries.
He added, “So I request you all to please stop linking us & expecting us to be interacting in a certain way. Linking her constantly with me is going to tarnish her image, & it is not something she or any girl deserves to be put through."
"I understand you liked our friendship/camaraderie, but the fans on either side must learn to respect people and their space… My #Amaalians, I request you to stop mudslinging, & I request #TaniaFans to also respectfully start doing the same! Thank you," he concluded.

Initially, Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik seemed to develop a rather close bond. She was often seen taking care of the music composer whenever he felt low or unwell during the show.
However, as the show progressed, viewers saw a drastic change in their dynamics.
Bigg Boss 19 ended with Gaurav Khanna being crowned as the winner. He defeated Farrhana Bhatt and Pranit More as the runner-up and the third finalist, respectively.
