Bigg Boss OTT 3: Ranvir Shorey Opens Up On Divorce, Blames The Feminist Movement

Ranvir Shorey Talks About Divorce In The Film Industry, Says "Yeh Jo Feminist Movement Hai Na..."
Bollywood controversies are unending, and so are instances from Bigg Boss OTT 3. The reality television show hosted by Anil Kapoor brought many famous personalities under one roof. Not only has this created unending drama, but it has also given us some shocking revelations.
In the recent episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3, Ranvir Shorey got candid with rapper Naezy about the divorce culture that`s become the norm in the film industry. For the uninitiated, the actor has time and again opened up about his personal life, especially his romance with Pooja Bhatt.
Ranvir Shorey was previously married to actress Konkona Sen Sharma. The duo shortly parted ways after the birth of their son, who is now 13 years old.
The two were in the kitchen when the rapper asked the actor, "Industry mein zadatar rishtaay aese kyu hojaate hai baad mein jaake? Main dekh raha hun bohut saaare artistes ka divorce karte hai. (Why does this happen to so many relationships in the industry? I see so many of the artists going for divorces)."

Replying to him, Ranvir said it is not just in the industry but a common phenomenon everywhere. He further blamed the feminist movements and mentality for the same.
The actor said, "Yeh industry ka koi lena dena nahi hai. Yeh zamane ka, jaha duniya hai na, usse lena dena hai. Because abhi jo feminist movement hai, usko kabhi kabhi abuse kiya jaata hai. Kabhi Kabhi aadmi nahi jhel paate usko, kabhi kabhi aurate usko abuse karti hai. Toh iska industry se koi lena dena nahi hai. Woh sab jagah hai. Feminist movement bhi zaruri hai."
The Khosla Ka Ghosla actor further added, "Mere hisab se history mey joh aurato ko second class treatment mila hai na, uski wajah ek hi hai, woh kya hai ke women are physically weaker than men. Bas issi wajah se. Issliye mai kehta hu ke feminist movement issliye important hai."
Recently, Munisha Khatwani and Chandrika Dixit (the vada pav girl) were evicted from the show. Bigg Boss OTT 3 premiered on JioCinemas on June 21.
The show is now hosted by Anil Kapoor. Previously, Salman Khan was the face of the show.
