Ganapath: Tiger Visits Siddhivinayak Temple to Seek Blessings

Siddhivinayak Temple is visited regularly by Bollywood stars ahead of big events and film releases. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and others pay their visits to the temple quite regularly.
As Tiger Shroff`s new film Ganapath was released today, he paid a visit to Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings. The name of the film is also derived from the much-revealed God. He was captured inside the temple as he wore a white Kurta.
`Ganapath: A Hero is Born` is a futuristic sci-fi film directed by Vikas Bahl. It also stars Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan in prominent roles. Kriti Sanon recently won the National Film Award for her work in the film Mimi.
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Vikas Bahl, Ganapath is released in theaters in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film opened today to mixed reviews from audiences and critics who praised the film`s action but pointed out that it has a weak story.

The trailer for the film left quite a lot of promise, as it saw Tiger and Kriti doing stunts and action while attacking enemies in style. Tiger`s last film release was Heropanti 2 in 2022, which was not well received either.
Ganapath also marks the collaboration between Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff after almost 10 years since their debut film Heropanti. Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon was last seen in Adipurush, which didn`t fare well. This will be her third release in the year after Shehzada and Adipurush.
The film`s music is by Vishal Mishra, Amit Trivedi, White Noise Studios, and Dr. Zeus. Along with that, the background score is done by the composer duo Salim-Suleiman.
The shooting of the film began in November 2021, and its final schedule ended in May 2022 in Ladakh. There were additional shots that needed to be filmed, which happened in February 2023.
Ganapath is an expensive film with a budget of over Rs 200 crore. It was initially set to release in December 2022 but got delayed due to some remaining work in post-production. It remains to be seen now how it fares at the box office.
