‘Gangers’ spins the tale of Saravanan, played by Sundar C, an undercover police officer with a unique disguise. He poses as a physical education teacher in a school to investigate the criminal activities of Malayarasan and Kottaiyarasan. The mission takes a hilariously chaotic turn as Saravanan enlists the school staff to form his own unconventional gang. This transforms the educational institution into an unexpected battleground of wit and action.
The film brings back the beloved comedic duo of Sundar C and Vadivelu, a major draw for audiences. Their previous collaborations, including hits like Winner, Giri, Thalainagaram, and London, have left a lasting mark. Their last film together before "Gangers" was Nagaram Marupakkam in 2010.

Sundar C on Glamour in His Films
In a recent interview, Sundar C addressed comments about the presence of glamour in his movies. He clarified that his primary audience includes children and families. "There are no double-meaning dialogues or vulgar lyrics. The heroines might be glamorous, but the angle is important. You can show someone in a saree from the wrong angle by keeping the camera above or below if she is wearing a gown. That is vulgarity, and I never do that type of thing. I only try to shoot beautifully,” he explained. He further emphasised that his films avoid obscene scenes or special item numbers, citing "Aranmanai 4" promotions as an example. "It is part of promotions.
