Ghoomer: Actress Saiyami Kher Unveils Her First Look From R Balki`s Film With Abhishek Bachchan

On Wednesday, Saiyami Kher took to Instagram unveiling the first look of her upcoming movie Ghoomer. An R Balki helmed, the movie features Abhishek Bachchan in the lead alongside the actress. Kher shared a photo with Bachchan and her starring off-screen an something intriguingly.
Known for movies like Cheeni Kum, Ki And Ka, and Pad Man, R Balki`s next is rumoured to be a sports drama based on Karoly Takacs, a Hungarian right-handed shooter. The shooter, after injuring his right arm, continues to acheive his goals with his left arm and goes on to win two Olympic Gold Medals in the Paralymics.
Earlier this year in Februrary, the makers of the film said they salute the efforts and dedication of sportsperson who have defeated their disabilities to conquer their goals and achieved more than when they were so-called `normal.`
Taking to Insatgram, the movie`s lead actress said, "As they say, when you really want something, the universe conspires to make it happen. This project taught me that. Captained by R. Balki, shot by @vishalsinhadop `Ghoomer` was all about teamwork. This was a project with some of the nicest people I`ve met. This was a project that let me play a sport that I love. A project that let me play one of the most challenging roles I`ve played thus far; both emotionally & physically. It feels too good to be true."
The 30-year old always wanted to live "the life of a professional cricketer", a wish that was ticked off the list with Ghoomer. The roles of either of the actors haven`t been disclosed yet.
The film also stars Shabana Azmi and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles. Balki, along with Rahul Sengupta and Rishi Virman, is the writer of Ghoomer. The movie`s release date is yet to be announced.
