Here`s How Deepika Padukone Reacted To Dwayne Johnson`s, `I didn`t know what depression` Statement

Deepika Padukone is not just a fabulous actress but also a kind-hearted person. She was last seen with Shah Rukh Khan`s Pathaan which successfully broke all the Box office records. The spy-thriller also stars John Abraham in the lead role and marks SRK`s comeback on the big screen after four years.
In the year 2015, Deepika revealed about suffering from depression. She even broke down on several instances as she spoke about her mental health. Since then, she has been working hard to explain to people the necessity to talk if they are not feeling okay. For the unversed, the actress also started her foundation to battle depression which she named, `The Live Love Laugh" foundation.
Recently, Dwayne Johnson spoke about his depression in an interview. Talking about Dwayne`s statement on the Pivot podcast, where he spoke about the depression he is battling. He said, "I didn’t want to go to school... I was ready to leave. I left school."
He added, "I didn’t take any midterms, and I just left. But the interesting thing, at that time, is I just didn’t know what it was. I didn’t know what mental health was. I didn’t know what depression was. I just knew I didn’t want to be there, wasn’t going to any of the team meetings, wasn’t participating in anything."
Reacting to the same, on Sunday, Deepika took to her Instagram story and shared a post on Dwayne`s statement about him suffering from depression. Along with it, she wrote, "Mental health matters". She also tried to gain attention to the importance of mental health and tagged her mental health foundation.
On the work front, Deepika is currently working on Project K which also features Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan. She also has Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor.
