Speaking about his role, Bobby Deol said that it is not the length of the role that matters but the amount of substance that the character has. He expressed his desire to have a longer role; however, he was grateful for what he got. "I wish I had more scenes, but when I signed the film, I knew this is what I had. At that point in my life, I was grateful to God that I was given this chance to play this role by Sandeep."
Further, he shared, "I knew I had only 15 days of work and wouldn’t be there throughout the film. I was sure people would notice me, but I never realized that there would be so much love, appreciation, and affection. It’s like, wow! It’s amazing."

The response he has been receiving ever since the trailer was released is overwhelming. Audiences are just amused to see him in his all-new avatar. He himself was shocked to see his persona in the trailer.
In his recent appearance on Koffee With Karan 8, he revealed how difficult it was to cope when he was not getting any film offers in between. It is truly delightful to see him making a comeback finally, and it remains to be seen what further projects he bags.
Animal released on December 1 clashed with Vicky Kaushal`s Sam Bahadur. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, and Suresh Oberoi in important roles. It has been running successfully at the box office and has already generated more than 100 crore.
