Fahadh Faasil gears up for his Bollywood debut opposite this actress
If there`s one South Indian superstar who has carved his niche and garnered a huge fan base with his exceptional performances, it has to be Fahadh Faasil. The actor turns 42 today. After his success with Pushpa 2 and his recent hit, Maareesan, Faasil is all set to make his Bollywood debut.
Reports further suggest Fahadh will be paired opposite Dhadak 2 actress Triptii Dimri in the upcoming film. Imtiaz Ali will not only be directing the film but also producing it.
The source further added, “They’ve been discussing this project for months, and it was recently finalised contractually. Triptii’s pairing with him adds an exciting and unique dimension to this collaboration. Imtiaz is known for pushing boundaries in love stories, and this one promises to stand out in his repertoire."
As per the report, the filmmaker is busy adding final touches to the script, and production is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2025. Imtiaz will be producing the film under his banner, Window Seat Films.
While this marks Fahadh Faasil`s first collaboration with the Bollywood director, Triptii Dimri has previously worked with him in Laila Majnu, where he was the writer of the film.
Allu Arjun said, “For the first time in all my films, I have worked with one of the best Malayalam actors, our FaFa. I actually miss seeing him today. I really wish we both were standing here together in Kerala today."

On the work front, Fahadh Faasil was last seen in Maareesan, a Malayalam comedy thriller that was received well at the box office. As for Triptii Dimri, she is currently soaring high on Dhadak 2`s success.
