Fahadh Faasil`s Bollywood debut
Pushpa 2: The Rule is just a day away from its release, and fans cannot keep calm to see Allu Arjun and the rest of the cast reprise their iconic roles. Ahead of the same, reports suggest Fahadh Faasil is all set to make his Bollywood debut in Imtiaz Ali`s next.
Reports further suggest Fahadh will be paired opposite Animal actress Triptii Dimri in the upcoming film. Imtiaz Ali will not only be directing the film but also producing it.
For the uninitiated, Fahadh Faasil is a South Indian superstar who works predominantly in the Malayalam and Tamil film industries. He will be seen next in Pushpa 2 as the lead antagonist, ACP Bhanwar Singh.
The source further added, “They’ve been discussing this project for months, and it was recently finalised contractually. Triptii’s pairing with him adds an exciting and unique dimension to this collaboration. Imtiaz is known for pushing boundaries in love stories, and this one promises to stand out in his repertoire."
As per the report, the filmmaker is busy adding final touches to the script, and production is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2025. Imtiaz will be producing the film under his banner, Window Seat Films.
While this marks Fahadh Faasil`s first collaboration with the Bollywood director, Triptii Dimri has previously worked with him in Laila Majnu, where he was the writer of the film.

Allu Arjun said, “For the first time in all my films, I have worked with one of the best Malayalam actors, our FaFa. I actually miss seeing him today. I really wish we both were standing here together in Kerala today."
"That would have been an iconic thing. My brother, thank you! I wish we were here together. I wish you all the best. I’m telling all the Keralites here, FaFa has rocked the show in Pushpa 2, and he will make every Mallu proud throughout the world," he further added.
Pushpa 2 will release in cinemas on December 5.
