Jackie Shroff Urges Netizens to Help the Strays; Asks to Leave Water Outside Homes this Summer
Actor and philanthropist Jackie Shroff urged people to help the strays during the heatwaves this summer. In a video shared by his NGO, ‘Ped Lagao Bhidu’, the organisation advised everyone to keep water bowls in their windows and streets to help keep the stray animals hydrated.
Taking to his NGO’s Instagram handle, the Rangeela actor shared a video about staying hydrated and helping other animals do the same. He wrote, “Aaj ki special advice – paani peena nahi bhoolna, aur paani rakhna mat bhoolna! Together, let’s make a splash of compassion.” (Today’s special advice - don’t forget to drink water, and don’t forget to keep water!)

In the video, Jackie Shroff aims to spread awareness about how stray animals don’t have the luxury of staying indoors comfortably. The animals feel thirsty as well and require water to cool themselves. Some stray animals may not have the privilege of finding clean water in their surroundings, which leads to their deaths or the spread of diseases. Jackie Shroff pleaded for the welfare of such stray animals and thus advised everyone to keep a bowl of water in their vicinity where the animals and birds can drink from.
The Ram Lakhan actor will be next seen in the film ‘Two Zero One Four’ playing the role of an Indian spy named Captain Khanna. The film is directed by Shravan Tiwari and produced by Sandip Patel under the banner of SRHP Films.
Previously, Jackie Shroff shared some details about the film’s plot and his experience portraying Captain Khanna’s role. The actor said, “Working on Two Zero One Four has been an exhilarating experience. The film’s storyline is both riveting and timely, and I am eager for audiences to witness the intense drama and suspense it has to offer. The film follows the story of Captain Khanna, a retired army officer drawn back into the world of espionage when tasked with interrogating a notorious Pakistani terrorist. What begins as a routine mission soon escalates into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse as Khanna uncovers a far-reaching conspiracy involving both Indian and foreign intelligence agencies.”
