Kannada Actor Mandeep Roy Passes Away At 72 After Suffering A Brutal Heart Attack In Bengaluru

Kannada veteran actor and comedian Mandeep Roy passed away after suffering a brutal heart attack in Bengaluru. On the wee hours of January 29, the actor breathed his last at the age of 72. According to his family, Roy suffered a heart attack in December, for which he was given proper and immediate treatment. Having a prolific career in the Kannada film industry, Mandeep was one of the most loved comedians.
He wrote, "Mandeep Roy | Originally Bengali, Settled and Acted in Kannada Film Industry, Closely Connected to #Kannada #People He is Unforgettable in #Pushpaka Vimana #RIP #MandeepRoy #KFI #Kannada (sic)."

Who was Mandeep Roy?
A Kannada superstar, Mandeep Roy made his debut in the 1982 release Minchina Oota. Having acted in over 500 films, he was blessed with impeccable comic timing. After suffering a major cardiac arrest, Roy died on January 29 at the age of 72. He was laid to rest at Bengaluru`s Hebbal Crematorium. Many celebrities from the Kannada film industry paid their respects to the veteran actor.
