The much-awaited trailer of Kantara Chapter 1 sets the tone for an epic mythological saga rooted in folklore, faith, and power struggles. The story kicks off with a young Shiva questioning the mysterious disappearance of his father during a Daiva Kola/Bhuta Kola ritual deep within the forest. This moment unravels a layered narrative as Shiva is told the tale of his ancestors—brave souls who rose against oppression with the blessing of divine forces.

The trailer then introduces Gulshan Devaiah in a powerful avatar as a ruthless and domineering prince, a role that instantly adds intensity to the story.
On the other hand, Rukmini Vasanth portrays a compassionate princess whose bond with Shiva’s ancestor sparks a love story that threatens the established order and challenges social hierarchy.
The gripping visuals culminate in a chilling scene where Rishab Shetty’s character appears possessed by the Daiva Kola for the very first time, promising audiences a spine-tingling cinematic experience.
