Kapil Sharma, a boy who belonged to a middle-class family, has now risen to stardom with hard work and his unmatched stand-up comedy skills. Kapil Sharma is a famous Indian comedian, television host, actor, and producer. He is known for hosting The Kapil Sharma Show. He has now become the most popular Indian television personality.
Kapil Sharma was born on 2 April 1981 in the city of Amritsar, Punjab. Being born in a lower-middle-class family, Kapil`s childhood was not easy. He was devastated when his father passed away due to cancer in 2004. But, he never gave up and fulfilled his responsibilities towards his family. Very less people know that Kapil shifted to Bombay for becoming a singer, but destiny had different plans for him.
In 2007, Kapil won The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, a comedy reality television show. Interestingly, it became India’s highest-rated scripted TV show. Kapil Sharma bagged the prestigious Entertainer of the Year award at CNN-IBN Indian of the Year awards. Unfortunately, due to some disparities with Colors TV, Kapil decided to end the show.
After ending Comedy Nights with Kapil, Sharma made a smashing comeback by signing a new contract with Sony TV for his new show titled, The Kapil Sharma Show. And this made Kapil Sharma a household name.
Kapil Sharma made his Bollywood film debut in 2015. He played the lead role in the film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. Interestingly, the movie broke records on opening day.
