Karan Johar announces the LAST SEASON of “Koffee With Karan”!
Some television shows entertain us, some become a habit, and then there are shows that become a part of our pop-culture memories. For over two decades now, Koffee With Karan has been exactly that for us! But here`s something that is gonna break all KWK fans hearts. Karan Johar has announced that the upcoming ninth season of the beloved celebrity chat show will be its final season, bringing an emotional end to a journey that began back in 2004.
In an emotional announcement on his social media handle, Karan Johar looked back at the beautiful journey of the show and even remembered his late father, filmmaker Yash Johar, whose words played a part in inspiring the idea behind the chat show. What started as conversations over coffee eventually became a phenomenon that gave audiences gossip, laughter, confessions, controversies and countless unforgettable television moments. And honestly, who can forget the Koffee couch? Over the years, Bollywood`s biggest stars have sat across from Karan and revealed sides of themselves that fans rarely got to see. From rapid-fire answers and the infamous Koffee Quiz to celebrity confessions and those wonderfully awkward moments, every episode came with the possibility of becoming tomorrow`s headline.
There were stars confidently attempting the rapid-fire round, only to be completely thrown off by Karan`s questions. In a press note, Karan talked about Koffee With Karan’s end, “Here are some journeys you don`t plan to end, you simply know, somewhere deep within you, when it is time to let them go. But through all of it, what has remained constant is the audience.”

Bollywood changed, celebrities came and went, social media transformed the way we consumed entertainment, and yet that familiar opening, the plush couch and Karan`s signature questions continued to feel strangely comforting.
The show has completed eight seasons and 161 episodes over its 22-year run, making its farewell feel bigger than the ending of just another chat show.
Now comes one last cup of Koffee. There will be one final season, one final round of rapid-fire questions, one final set of celebrity confessions and, inevitably, plenty of moments that fans will talk about long after the credits roll.
