Kashmera Shah Requests Estranged Uncle Govinda To Attend Arti Singh`s Wedding
The Hindi film industry is packed with mirch-masala even off the screens, and we can`t help but discuss the unending drama. Speaking of which, Krushna Abhishek and his estranged uncle Govinda are back to being the hot topic of discussion as the former`s sister, Arti Singh, is soon to get married.
The comedian-actor`s sister, Arti Singh, will soon tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Dipak Chauhan. While everyone close to the family made it to the guest list, it was Krushna Abhishek`s uncle, Govinda, or Chi Chi Mama, who stayed away from the celebrations.
Now, in an interview, the actor`s wife, Kashmera Shah, opened up about the same and requested the Bhagam Bhag actor to attend Arti`s wedding.
Kashmera sat down with Hindsutan Times for a candid chat and spoke about looking beyond the severed ties at Arti`s wedding.

Speaking about the Partner actor`s presence at the wedding, Kashmera said, "He might have been angry at us, but he is not angry at Arti. And it is not Krushna`s wedding. If he had not come to our wedding, we would have understood that he was upset with us. But it is Arti, and she really wants him there. I would request that he come as Arti and not take our anger out on her.”
“It`s a happy occasion for the family, and we will welcome him with our open arms. I am his daughter-in-law. I will be meeting my father-in-law at the wedding and will greet him by touching his feet. Arti has nothing to do with what ensued between us. These things happen in a family, but that does not mean that we don`t love each other,” she further added.

"There`s a saying that gehun ke sath ghoon bhi pees jata hai (when bulls fight, grass gets trampled). Whatever issue happened between them, I too have to face the consequences. Chi Chi Mama and his family don`t speak to me anymore," said Arti Singh.
Earlier in an interview with the Times of India, Govinda`s wife, Sunita candidly opened up about the feud and said, "We have broken all ties with Krushna and Kashmera, and I swear I won`t initiate a patch-up this time around. I was a fool to do so two years ago. Govinda was right about them. It was my mistake that I thought that we should give them another chance."
Coming back to Arti Singh and Dipak Chauhan`s wedding, the couple is all set to tie the knot on April 25 at Mumbai`s ISKCON Temple.
