Okay, so thisis not what I signed up for. Yes, this one’s going to be a first person narrative because I did not wait for 4 years only to listen Arijit Singh rhyme ‘Kesariya’ with ‘Love Storiya.’ No, I’m not pissed, I’m puzzled. my ears are bleeding and a confused me wants to ask Amitabh Bhattacharya;
On Sunday, the much-awaited song Kesariya from Alia Bhatt -Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra dropped and so did my expectations. There’s a part in the song that goes, “Kajal Ki Siyahi Se Likhi Hai Tune Jaane Kitno Ki Love Story’an; Kesariya Tera Ishq Hai Piya!”
I mean if you have to rhyme, will you force-fit ANYTHING? If that’s the first rule of songwriting, I’m going to try my hands on it. Not as talented as the lyricist of the movie but I can definitely give it a shot on the words that rhyme with Kesariya.
Here’s my rendition or version of some force-fit phrases that`d still make sense than Love Storiya. If you’ve listened to the song, you can survive this too. So don’t make that cringe face and keep on reading (because why should I suffer alone!)

I know this is lame but so is "Kajal Ki Siyahi Se Likhi Hai Tune Jaane Kitno Ki Love Story’an." The meme-fest on Love Storiya in the latest Arijit Singh song is a laughter riot. It is a result of confused, puzzled, and even hammered audience because after hyping it for 4-long years and the lead couple even getting married, this is not what we expected.
And for all those who loved `Love Storiya`, I’m not even going to apologize for writing this because the song is “clearly inspired” by “Laree Chooti”, an independent song by the band Call, which was later adapted in Ek Chaalis Ki Last Local. There, I said it.
