Koffee With Karan: Karan Johar Announces End of The Show, It`s Time We Find Another Guilty Pleasure

When it comes to Karan Johar, you can only think of two things - Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham or Koffee With Karan. Talking about the latter, Karan Johar took to social media announcing that the most loved talk show won`t be returning with another season.
The show marked its last season before the pandemic with the sixth season. The announcement came amidst the speculation of the internet taking wild guesses about who will make it to the couch in the show`s new season.
Sharing a note, the filmmaker said, “Hello, Koffee With Karan has been a part of my life and yours, for 6 seasons now. I`d like to think we made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Koffee With Karan will not be returning. -Karan Johar.”
While the fans expressed their sadness and shock over the news, one wrote "End of an era" while another requested for the seventh season to be the last one. And then there was the most relatable comment - “That`s really sad! KWK was and will always be an iconic guilty pleasure for man.” The talk show was truly our guilty pleasure."
The first episode aired in 2004 with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol opening the season. Over the span of 15 years, the couch and set has evolved and so have the guests. A-listers like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Twinkel Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, Madhuri Dixit, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, and more have entertained us with spilling some of the beans we`d neevr know if it weren`t for Karan Johar`s show.
Well, it`s going to be tough to find another guilty pleasure that`s as addictive and entertaining as the Indian talk show. Guess it is time to go back to the OG guilty pleasure - K3G. BRB, were going to do a re-run of Koffee With Karan seasons while digging into a tub of chocolate ice-cream.
