There is no doubt about India becoming one of the leading economies in the world, and most of the credit for the development goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ever since he has stepped in as India`s leader, the nation has seen progress and overcome challenges smoothly.
For the uninitiated, Modi stepped in as India`s Prime Minister in 2014. He is one of the longest-serving prime ministers of the country. He sworn in as Gujarat`s chief minister 21 years ago in 2001, and the rest is history.
To celebrate Narendra Modi`s 74th birthday, Ajmer Sharif Dargah will distribute 4000 kilos of vegetarian langar on September 17. The Dargah authorities shared an official statement and spoke about their ongoing tradition.
"In celebration of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in conjunction with "Sewa Pakhwada," the historic and world-famous "Big Shahi Deg" at Ajmer Dargah Sharif will once again be used to prepare and distribute 4000 kg of vegetarian "Langar" food, continuing a tradition that has been upheld for over 550 years," read the statement.
1. PM Modi, before contesting in the general elections, was also the longest-serving chief minister of Gujarat. He was sworn in as the CM in 2001, a chair he continued till he was elected as the prime minister in 2014.
