Prithviraj Sukumaran Talks About Aadujeevitham: Says He Will ‘Proudly Show’ It to His Daughter
The highly anticipated Malayalam film `Aadujeevitham` (The Goat Life) is set to release on March 28th. The movie`s promotions are in full swing, with a recent grand event held for its music launch. Aadujeevitham is a survival drama based on Benjamin`s novel of the same name.
The film is directed by the acclaimed director Blessy and will be available to watch in five languages: Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
Looking back on his journey, Prithviraj said, “When we began filming, I wasn’t a director, I was relatively new as an actor, and I wasn’t yet a father or husband. Much has changed in my life during this film’s journey. However, the experience of Aadujeevitham, I believe, will impact me more as a human being than as an actor, director, or producer. It will influence my acting style and how I perceive cinema and life moving forward.”

In the past, the actor from `Lucifer` shared that he intentionally prevented his nine-year-old daughter from watching his films. This parental decision was based on the thought that the daughter ‘would only see her father on the screen and not an actor’.
However, while talking about his recent film, Prithviraj said that Aadujeevitham may be an exception to that rule. He said, “I don’t know if this is a film I’d want her to see. Nonetheless, this is one film that, at some point, I will proudly show her. And someday, if my daughter asks me what being an actor means, Aadujeevitham will be the first film I show her.”
The event saw an attendance of about six thousand, including the film’s cast: Prithviraj Sukumaran, Amala Paul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, K.R. Gokul, Talib al Balushi, and Rik Aby.
While talking about his creative journey, Rahman said, “It’s such an honour to work with such a passionate man as Blessy, who believes in cinema, goodwill, stories, and humanity. Working with him taught me so much because he is a very patient person. I want to thank you for coming and supporting us. This movie is a story of all of us; we are all struggling in some kind of way."
"For some people, the struggle is internal, in the movie, the struggle of the hero is being trapped in a desert, but still, a lot of people are relating to this. Returning back to the Malayalam film industry, I personally feel like I’ve come back home. Coming back in this way for such a special movie with such great people to support this, it is such an honour, and it has been a very interesting journey,” the musician concluded.
